He often sat at the back of the room with his amazing collection, helping people to find coins and banknotes for their sets. If you asked him about something and he didn't have it with him, you'd get a tap on the shoulder a month or two later with what you were looking for.Unfortunately he hadn't been able to join us for the last year or so, due to his health.I can only speak for myself, but I remember him as a kind man and a very gentle soul. He was always very generous with his time and knowledge, which really set the tone for our club. A true gentleman who'll be missed. Click on image for a larger version
